Yayasan Metropolitan Peduli Builds a school in Lombok

PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (Metland) through Yayasan Metropolitan Peduli (YMP) built Sambik Bangkol 2 Public Elementary School, Hamlet of Oman Telaga, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara which was damaged by the earthquake. The simple ceremony laid the first stone attended by Hamlet Omega Telaga sub-district head Ahmad Suhadi, representatives of the Youth and Sports Education Office, Koramil, Village Guard Patara and PT Metropolitan Land Tbk Vice President Director, Anhar Sudradjat and Director of PT Metropolitan Land Tbk, Nitik Hening (27 / 9).

"Metland repaired 3 classrooms at SDN Sambik Bangkol and was the first school construction after the earthquake disaster in this area. The construction will take place over the next 2 months, we hope that the children can immediately use this classroom for learning activities, "explained Anhar Sudradjat.

Since the 7-magnitude earthquake struck Lombok in August 2018, the YMP emergency response team was immediately deployed to provide assistance. In collaboration with the Republic of Indonesia Air Force special forces, a public kitchen and free medical treatment were opened in the Karang Anyar Hamlet, Gangga District, Lombok Utama. Other assistance in the form of basic necessities, stationery, school uniforms, mineral water, tarpaulins, distribution of packaged rice was distributed to 5 hamlets affected by the disaster, and the construction of 5 toilets to alleviate the suffering of disaster victims.
