Welcome to the official platform of PT Metropolitan Land, Tbk
("Metland"). This page contains the General Terms of Use applicable
to all individuals who use Metland's platform (website, application), products,
and/or services (“Terms of Use”). By accessing this page and utilizing the
platform, you and Metland are bound by an agreement. Therefore, you are deemed
to have understood and agreed to comply with the applicable terms and
conditions. Metland encourages you to read these Terms of Use carefully.
These Terms also establish the basis for the acquisition, collection,
processing, analysis, display, disclosure, and/or any form of management
related to data or information that you, as the User, provide to Metland and/or
that Metland collects from you, including personal data. This applies whether
during registration on the platform, accessing the platform, or using services
on the platform (hereinafter referred to as “data”), as outlined in Metland
Group’s Privacy Policy.
If you are below the minimum age requirement or classified as a minor
under the applicable laws and regulations, consent to use the services must be
provided by your parent and/or legal guardian in accordance with the relevant
legal provisions.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the Metland platform
(including applications and websites), as well as future platforms and/or those
under development, unless otherwise specified in separate terms and conditions.
These provisions explain how Metland, including its subsidiaries and/or
affiliated and/or associated companies, operates the platform due to your use
of Metland’s platform, products, and/or services, which include:
Metland collects User data for the
purpose of processing User transactions, managing and facilitating the use of
the Platform, and other purposes permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
The User data collected includes the following:
a. Data provided voluntarily by
Users, including but not limited to data submitted when Users
i. Create or update a Metland
account, including username, email address, phone number, password, address,
profile photo, identification card photo, and other information;
ii. Contact Metland, including
through customer service channels;
iii. Complete surveys sent by or on
behalf of Metland;
iv. Use services on the Platform,
including detailed transaction data such as the type, quantity, and/or
description of products or services purchased, payment channel used,
transaction amount, date and time of transaction, and other transaction
details;
v. Provide payment data when
conducting payment transactions at mall tenants and upload it via the Platform,
including but not limited to payment methods, bank account details, credit card
information, virtual accounts, instant payment systems, internet banking, and
retail outlets; and/or
vi. Use features that require access
permissions to the User’s device.
b. Data
recorded when Users use the Platform, including but not limited to:
i. Real or
approximate location data, such as IP address, Wi-Fi location, geo-location,
and similar information;
ii. Time-related
data for each User activity, including registration, login, transactions, and
other activities;
iii. Usage or
preference data, including User interactions with the Platform, saved
preferences, and selected settings. This data is obtained using cookies, pixel
tags, and similar technologies that
create and maintain unique identifiers;
iv. Device
data, such as the type of device used to access the Platform, including
hardware model, operating system and version, software, file names and
versions, language preferences, unique device identifiers, advertising
identifiers, serial numbers, device motion information, and/or cellular network
information;
v. Log data,
including server logs capturing data such as the device’s IP address, access
date and time, application features or pages viewed, application performance
and system activities, browser type, and/or third-party sites or services used
prior to interacting with the Platform.
c. Data
obtained from other sources, including:
i. Metland’s
business partners who assist in developing and delivering services on the
Platform to Users, such as payment service providers, platform infrastructure
providers, and other partners;
ii. Metland’s
business partners where Users create or access their Metland accounts, such as
social media services or websites/applications that use Metland’s API or are
utilized by Metland;
iii. Financial
service providers;
iv. Marketing
service providers;
v. Publicly
available sources.
d. Metland may combine data obtained from these sources
with other data it already possesses.
Metland
may use all or part of the data obtained and collected from Users as mentioned
in the previous section for the following purposes:
a. To process all types of
requests, activities, and transaction uploads made by Users through the Platform, including for the purpose of delivering products to Users.
b. To
provide features that enable, deliver, maintain, and improve our products and
services, including:
i. Offering, procuring, providing, or facilitating rewards programs,
directories, or other products through the Platform;
ii. Enabling features to personalize Users’ Metland Mall accounts, such as
Wishlist and Favorite Stores; and/or
iii. Conducting necessary internal activities to deliver services on Metland’s
website/application, such as troubleshooting software
issues, bugs, operational problems, performing data analysis, testing, and
research, as well as monitoring and analyzing usage trends and activities.
c. To assist Users in
communicating with Metland’s Customer Service, including:
i. Examining and resolving
User issues;
ii. Directing User inquiries
to the appropriate Customer Service personnel to address
the issues; and
iii. Monitoring and improving
Metland’s Customer Service responses.
d. To contact Users via email, mail, phone, fax, and other means, including
but not limited to assisting with and/or resolving transaction processes or addressing
issues.
e. To use information obtained from Users for research, analysis, product
development, and testing purposes to enhance the safety and security of
services on the Platform, as well as to develop new features and products.
f. To inform Users about products, services, promotions, studies, surveys,
news, updates, events, and more, whether through the Platform or other media.
Metland may also use this information to promote and manage contests and
sweepstakes, distribute prizes, and deliver advertisements and content relevant
to Metland’s products and/or services and those of its business partners.
g. To monitor or investigate suspicious transactions or transactions
suspected of containing elements of fraud or violations of the Terms and
Conditions or applicable laws, and to take necessary actions as a follow-up to
the results of such monitoring or investigation.
h. In certain circumstances, Metland may need to use or disclose User data
for law enforcement purposes or to comply with applicable legal and regulatory
requirements, including in the event of disputes or legal proceedings between
the User and Metland.
We
use and disclose your Personal Data, including to Affiliates, for the following
purposes.
a. To Process Customer Transaction. We use Personal Data such as name, phone number, email address,
residential address, and company/institution to communicate with Customers,
including contacting them about ordered products/services, event registration,
memberships, and other types of transactions. We use financial data, credit
card information, and payment details to process orders and may need to share
some of this information with clearing institutions and other third parties to
complete the transactions.
b. To Provide Support or Other Service. We may use your Personal Data to
provide support or other services related to the transactions performed by
Customers, such as handling Customer complaints, responding to Customer calls,
confirming transactions with Customers, and various other Customer services
related to those transactions.
c. To Provide Product Updates or
Current Information. We may use your Personal Data (email
and/or phone number) to notify you about the release of new products, product
and service developments, retargeting efforts, promotions, personalized offers,
subscriptions, event participation, or other relevant information. This
information is not limited to products/services you have purchased but also
includes other Metland products/services that align with your needs. We may use
your Personal Data and transaction history to analyze Customer behavior and
deliver the most relevant services or experiences to you.
d. To Analyze Customer Behavior for
Improved Experiences/Services. We use your Personal Data and your
interactions with our products/services to fully analyze your behavior patterns
in utilizing them. The development of products and services is based on our
understanding of what Customers need most.
e. To Deliver Relevant Advertisements to You. We will use your non-personally identifiable attributes and cookies to
display advertisements that are tailored to you.
f. To inform you about the benefits, programs, and opportunities we provide,
we and/or our Affiliates may communicate with you regarding the advantages,
programs, and opportunities that the Metland products/services can offer.
g. To interact with third parties, we may share your Personal Data with those
third parties associated with Metland's products/services that engage with Customers. We ensure that these third parties are selected with care and are
obligated to safeguard your data. Additionally, we share your information with
third parties that we believe can provide content, products, or services that
are relevant to your interests.
h. To protect our content and services, we use Personal Data to prevent
potential illegal activities and enforce our Terms and Conditions. We also
employ a variety of technological systems to detect unusual activities for
misuse, such as spam.
i. To gather feedback and suggestions from you periodically, we may ask
Customers to provide recommendations to make our products/services more aligned
with their needs and interests.
