Minister of Transportation Inaugurates Metland Telaga Murni Railway Station

Transportation Minister, Budi Karya Sumadi, inaugurated the Metland Telaga Murni Railway Station in Bekasi, West Java on Tuesday (8/13). With the station's inauguration, it is hoped that it can improve the connectivity and transportation services of the Jabodetabek commuter train.

For information, the construction of the Metland Telaga Murni Station is a follow-up to the Cooperation Agreement between the Directorate General of Railways with the Bekasi Regency Government and PT Fajarputera Dinasti in 2014. Then proceeded with the development process in 2015 to 2018. 

This development was initiated by the Bekasi Regency Government with private company involvement, which in this case means developers in the Bekasi Regency area. Metland Telaga Murni Station is located in the Jakarta-Cikampek line, between Cibitung Station and Cikarang Station in Telaga Murni Village.

Furthermore, the development of this new station is not only to increase the role of KRL services but also to encourage the public to use mass transportation facilities, as to reduce the burden of roads that are already very congested and vehicle emissions.
