Metland Achieve Positive Performance Amid Pandemic

PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (MTLA) recorded a net profit for the fiscal year 2020 attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp272.2 billion, a correction of 44.15% compared to the previous year of Rp487 billion. Metland distributed 20% of the net profit for the fiscal year 2020, amounting to Rp54.43 billion, which will be distributed to shareholders of 7,655,126,330 shares or Rp7.11 per share.

The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) was held to report on the financial year ending on December 31, 2020, covering five agendas; approval and ratification of the Annual Report including the Report on the Company's activities, the Report on the Supervisory activities of the Board of Commissioners and the Financial Report for the financial year 2020, the determination of the use of the Company's Net Profit for the financial year 2020, the appointment of a Public Accountant to audit the Financial Statements of the Company for the financial year 2021, determination of salaries, honorarium and other allowances for members of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors, and changes in the composition of the Board of Directors and/or Board of Commissioners of the Company.

The Company underwent a change in the composition of the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners due retirement of Kamardy Arief as Independent Commissioner and Thomas J. Angfendy as President Director. The AGMS has approved the appointment of Lanny Bambang as Independent Commissioner and Anhar Sudradjat as President Director.
